Where to eat in Seattle ?

June 17 – June 19 I have visited Seattle. My main goal was to run a marathon, however, during my stay  I had pleasure visiting some very cool restaurants and cafes. Here is my list of places to eat and dishes that I would recommend…

Seafood

When I say Seafood, I mean oysters. Seattle is a harbour full of seafood. It wouldn’t be wise not to try some of it.  All I can say – Seafood in Seattle is delicious! At the  Seattle waterfront there is place called Elliott’s  Oyster House . They serve freshest oysters and seafood.

Steak

I love to celebrate my marathon finishes with a steak! This time I went to theThe Morton’s Steakhouse Seattle .  It is famous chain of steakhouses, that excels in preparing some of the world’s best steaks.

My recommendation:

Oysters Rockefeller ($19) to start, filet mignon ($51), with baked potato ($15)  as a main. Their steaks are so delicious, it is impossible to describe! Best steak I have ever had !

Pizza

If you are craving for a pizza, I suggest you visit Serious Pie . As I was told, this place is always busy! I guess I was lucky,I went there at 3 p.m on Friday and it was pretty empty. What was even better – they had a special – every half pizza $6. This way I was able to try 3 different pizzas. Also same special they have for beers – beer on tap for $4. So if you are up to  pizza and beer don’t miss out this place!

My recommendation :

Pizza Margherita ($6 for half) – it is simple, but due to great ingredients it tasted delicious. If you are up for some meat  – their ham asparagus pizza ($6) is also very good!
